Tomorrow I get a house... *meep*!
So, cross your fingers, hope everything goes well, hope that I get over this "I feel like I'm getting a cold" feeling. It's not my first time buying a place, so I'm not that nervous - except that it's a house, not a condo, which is what I bought the last time. So I'm a little nervous. Will I find somebody good at masonry to clean up the brickwork? Or fix the floor of the garage? Will I find any surprises in this old (1930) house? It's been renovated (thank heaven - I'm not a do-it-yourselfer), but you never know.

I'll see if I can find some pics to post. Maybe that will make me feel better.

Here you go - *S*:

Wish me luck. *S*

YAY! A homeowner! Congrats!

Can't wait to see pics!!! I love old houses! Tons of character, IMHO.

I love it!!! It's cute! The Arts & Crafts style of the exterior and the glass doors! And that fireplace! It has elements of Bag End!

(I want it.)

Good luck! :-)

Whoa! That is so BEAUTIFUL!! Yay for house and not condo, with noisy neighbors upstairs or below.

I'm sure everything will go beautifully. And congratulations on the new abode!!

Have fun mowing that lawn, tho. *eg* Need a few good-luck cicadas to go with that tree in the front yard?

Just perfect!

What an adorable house! Hobbits would feel very comfortable there and you will, too. So cozy and inviting!

Very attractive. I'm happy for you! Good luck!

Oh, Ros...
I love it! So much light coming in, but filtered by the tree. Pretty doors! Looks like a good-sized back yard too - are you going to plant 'nastursians'? *G*

You'll find your house-fixers. All will be well. Ask your new neighbours for recommendations - good neighbours love being helpful.

Oh Ros, that's a beautiful house! I can so see you living there, you'd fit like Frodo at Bag End. :)
*crosses fingers, toes, knees, arms, and eyes*
Also - *sends virtual orange juice for that cold*
