*ggl* - "You didn't hear about the polar bear?"
"House" has just found... stand-ins for the three ducklings on his plane flight... one to agree with everything he says, one to disagree with everything he says, and one to be morally outraged by everything he says. *LOL*!!!
*L*! A different color for everybody, no less! Yeah... not fun to imagine on a plane...!
(I was hoping Cuddy would be barfing because she was pregnant!)
*gasp* Hey... maybe she IS anyway... and the barfing just helped to further her hysteria!
Hmm! What did House say about the statistics? Were there supposed to be two pregnant people on the plane, or just one? :D If he said two, it could be the writers' little clue. And it would explain why she succumbed to the hysteria. She doesn't seem the hysterical type. Especially as a doctor, when she's USED to being around people with highly contagious diseases.
I was thinking the same thing myself (your last sentence). On the other hand... they're in a confined space, and the argument could be made that she knows better than anyone else what the symptoms should be, and so could talk herself into it.
Yay, you like House! Hee, I loved when he had the stand-ins, especially the "croikey, mate" boy.
*L*! Yeah, I couldn't quite understand what he was having the kid say... and then it hit me - *L*!
p.s. I missed it... what was the toxin?
Oh, I forget now. It was for fumigating the house. You got that it was the neighbors' house, right? I'm thinking it had a B F name like benzylene foramide or formalene bromide or... something. (If you hadn't ASKED then I would have remembered.)
(Well online I see that methyl bromide is a popular fumigant. Dunno. That must be it, except they were saying "mefyl," hence the B F memory. Er.)
I said "He's got the bends!" two seconds before Cuddy did, haha. Not that that's terribly clever, since House had just declared that the guy went diving yesterday. But still. I'm proud.
Just a confirmation: it was indeed Methyl Bromide. :)
Yay! (You mean mefyl.)
(I'm the same person as gratiana.)
Well I'm pretty sure the sign on the door read methyl, and in any case there's no such thing as a mefylated element. :) I can't speak to their pronunciation, though, hehe.
They didn't really say mefyl. I was just being silly.
What was methyl bromide doing in this woman's house!?
And... (you might want to sit down for this one...)
Does that mean that, in this episode, one House was a healer and the other house was a killer?
Haha! That took me a moment to get.
Muchas gracias! Wonder what it was doing under the house?
No, I didn't realize it was the neighbor's house... thanks; fumigation makes sense. Poooooor kitty! No!
*G* Me, too - but who would think the bends would cause a rash?
The neighbors had their house all closed off for fumigation, with a big warning sign on the door, but there was a pipe that connected their basements or something from the old days where they shared electricity... or something.
She should sue the fumigation people. Poor kitty!!!!!!!
Thank you... I remembered seeing a pipe, and missed the explanation; that helps explain it.
I loved the little stand-in Chase. And then I was sad, because real Chase got his heart broken. :( I knew it was coming, but I love Chase, and I don't want to see emo!Chase.
*imagines emo!Chase, hair dyed black, with long jagged-cut bangs pushed across his face*
No... I don't want to see that either - *L*!
And I'm sure not liking Cameron; is there anything redeeming about her - or the other ducklings- lately?
And, yes... I just see little Chase jumping into the field of medicine now!
I used to like Cameron when she was more just sweet and innocent and nice, (even though many people found her annoying then too.) New sex-kitten-Cameron seems strange, like the writers are trying too hard.
Yeah... then again, maybe the writers are trying to show that SHE'S trying too hard, you know? She's trying to prove that she's as tough as the rest of them. But it's not just the sex, it's her whole character; just annoying. And the fact that nobody's calling her on it.
Maybe they're not calling her on it because it's old news now. They just expect her to be like that.
Meh, they're characters are swinging around this season a lot, in the sense that one episode one of them will be awesome, and then a few eps later you'll hate them. I dunno, but yeah, Cameron lately I just wanna punch.
