Billy in a fantasy film shot in New Zealand?
Again? *G* Possibly! I'm probably the last person to know, but www.boydism.net had a post on May 21 saying that it's rumored he's going to be in a movie shot in New Zealand about a mysterious Scottish water creature, called "The Water Horse". It was an Ain't It Cool rumor: http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=23117 . I also didn't know that "Save Angel Hope" was being shown at the Cannes Film Festival; let's hope it gets picked up for distribution!

They are delaying Prince Caspian to the summer of '08 because of Waterhorse. Walden Media decided it would be too much competition to have two fantasy films released for the Christmas movie season.

Anyway, great news for Billy!

Oh, that's too bad, though about the Narnia franchise. Are you kidding? I mean, this didn't sound like such a big movie!

IMDB has it as "filming" with several NZ locations. There's no mention of Billy in the cast list, though, and nothing at BBN either. They're also filming in Scotland, so his part might be close to home. I don't see him wanting to be away from the baby for too long.

That does make sense; I didn't see his name there either. Darn... hope it doesn't mean he's doing the voice of an animated creature! Not that that's bad, but he gets that too often.

Now THAT is a surprise... I had pretty much given up on that one. Plus, seemed like a small role for Billy, though I could be wrong. On the other hand, it's a serious role (I assume!); will give people a look at another side of his acting, and that will be good.
