There's a little article on an interview with Sean Astin at Wizard World... and it mentions a little about "Jeremiah" - just a little: http://www.wizarduniverse.com/conventions/texas/WW20051105-con.cfm
Actually, here's the bit:
Q: "Can you talk about your experience on the show “Jeremiah?”
A: "Jeremiah is one of, if not THE most enjoyable experiences in my professional life. And I watched the first season and I thought the first season was terrible. But then I met Joe Straczkynski and had a lunch meeting and he just started talking. And to hear this man talking you just go, ‘Wow’. He says I created this character for you and he’s sort of a prophet and the way he described it was like, “Ok, yeah, I want to do that.”
This was just an experience that whatever ideas this man had I was going to live out. What can I say? I was so disappointed when the series was cancelled."
*G* Sean, gotta agree with you about season one - *L*! Joe is such a genius; I don't know where he went wrong with the first season; sadly, I think it doomed the much better second season.
