abandonada just told me that Sean's going to be a presenter at the Heartland Film Festival, here in Indy, this weekend! There's a black tie awards ceremony on Saturday that he'll be presenting at. And... you can buy tickets ($35) to attend!
But, no, I won't be there. Sorry. I have a ticket to see Elvis Costello the very same night! Plus, it's in a big field house where they probably won't allow cameras, and I'll be very far away. *sigh* But... I wonder, since it IS black tie, if there will be a "red carpet"? Here's the link: http://www.heartlandfilmfest.org/2005/
Also, I went to imdb to see if Sean looked to be in any of the films, but I don't think he is. Perhaps he decided to do this because this is a film festival that promotes films with heart, that have a positive message. And, because his wife's family is in Indiana. *S* But... why wouldn't they show "Smile" here? That would be perfect for this! Anyway, I was looking and... this man is way too busy! Look at his schedule (and this is in addition to "24"):
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2005) (announced) .... Bobby
Mark Twain's Greatest Adventure: 'It's a Matter of Time' (2005) (pre-production) .... H.G. Wells
Cat Tale (2006) (filming) (voice) .... Rover
The Final Season (2006) (filming) .... Kent Stock
Borderland (2005) (filming) .... Randall
Click (2006) (filming) .... Bill Rando
Thanks to Gravity (2005) (post-production) .... Coach Amal
And didn't they just say he'd be in "Wicker Man" (starting up again, apparently)?
