Background on Graeme Obree, "The Flying Scotsman"
I hadn't noticed it before, but at www.billyboyd.net, the blurb on Billy being in the movie called "The Flying Scotsman" now has a hyperlink on Graeme's name which leads you to the book of the same name at Amazon.com. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1841582832/qid%3D1122288638/sr%3D8-2/ref%3Dsr%5F8%5Fxs%5Fap%5Fi2%5Fxgl/026-5692173-9055661 . Don't let the Darth Vader style biking helmet he wears on the cover put you off (*G*). The reviews below the book entry make this sound very interesting, since apparently Graeme not only came from a rough upbringing, but also battled depression on his way to biking success. So, aside from having to see Billy wear an absolutely hideous helmet (oh noes! *L*!), it sounds like a role he can really sink his teeth into! Check it out.

[ETA: Apparently Billy's not playing the lead role, Jonny Lee Miller is; Billy's playing his friend/coach. There's a new article here: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/therazz/daily/tm_objectid=15797900%26method=full%26siteid=89488-name_page.html]
