Ah, yes, watching LOTR features is such a blast. It's been a long time since I've seen these. I'm watching the WB special (on the theatrical version of TTT - thanks, Lilith!). I'm watching it to see the Billy/Dom bit, but, of course, it's all great. Okay, geeks, what's wrong with this line: "..., land of the Rohans..." *heeheehee!* And - awwwwwwww... cute little Sala talking on camera, just being credited as one of two "Stuntmen". And Dom mentioning Billy's long hair (grown for MAC) and how it makes him look more like when Dom first met him. *ggl* "Mmmmm... bosom..." *G* "That was nice... *haha*... do it again!" You know, it's funny about the BillyandDom show - you never know who's going to be the straight man, and who's going to be the goof. When Dom's the straight man (as he is in this), Billy tends to play a kooky innocent, rather like Stan Laurel. On the other hand, on the red carpet, Billy's usually rather prim and proper, and Dom tends to react to that and act like a madman. *shakes head* Either way, they're both nuts! *G* And dear ones, at that.
So, I DID get some yard work done today, and watered the neighbor's yard (they took care of mine while I was in Scotland, so I'm taking care of theirs while they're on vacation). And I went to see "War of the Worlds" - cool, and fun. Neat to see how the classic moments from the first movie were handled in this one: the hacked-off spy eye, the view of the aliens scurrying about, hiding from them, and, of course, the famous ending. I thought they really did a good job in this one, especially with the way the spaceships walked. And the little twist about the "fuel"? Whew! Finally, just by chance, I got to see fireworks. I was feeling kind of down because I didn't know which ones to go to or where to see them, and I hate crowds, but I was able to easily pull off the road and find a place to see some as I was driving by. Cool!
Finally - guess who's going to Pittsburgh to see Billy sing? Yep! So, if you know of a good, small, hidable recorder - let me know! *G*
