If you haven't already been pointed here by Beizy and Hanncoll...
go here for a great report on Billy at London Film and Comics Convention!:

To all the folks at GothMoot - hope you're having a great time - *S*!

ETA: Interesting news from a 2-week-old Entertainment Weekly...

Jack White (of the White Stripes) got married! To 25-year-old Karen Elson... in Brazil... in a canoe.

Did you know Penn Jillette and his wife named their child "Moxie Crimefighter"? *shakes head and laughs*

And best of all: Ewan McGregor! "The "Star Wars" star will play four different roles in fellow Scot Peter Capaldi's multilayered, as-yet-untitled movie-within-a-movie epic. May we suggest "Attack of the Clones"? WHOOT!!! [Peter Capaldi! He played the skinny geeky goof in "Local Hero", one of my favorite movies... and, yes, it's Scottish! If you've never seen the movie, rent it, please. *S*]

I love Local Hero.

Ha. He was in Smilla's Sense of Snow, which was interesting if rather unlike the book, and (omg) The Lair of the White Worm, which IIRC has an unusual game of Snakes and Ladders played in it; that's pretty much all I remember about the film!

*L*! I read on his filmography that he was in White Worm, but I don't think I've ever seen it... some voodoo movie, right?

I finally watched one of Bill Forsyth's other movies (and Billy's favorite), "Gregory's Girl". It was good, but I kept seeing all the similarities with "Local Hero", even after all these years! Including thinking how much the hero reminded me of... yes... Peter Capaldi's gawky character! Even how they run. *G*

*LOL*!!! Yep, that was in the movie! The one and only time that guy spoke, I think! *G*

And, it is!
