The finished album of STAR WARS: The Musical - "You didn't hear about the polar bear?"
The finished album of STAR WARS: The Musical|
Here it is! http://share.shutterfly.com/osi.jsp?i=EegN2LRi5atWsC¬ag=1
And a few teaser pics! BTW... still looking for a good place to post these in a STAR WARS forum.
[ETA: Just found a review on the net, and it has some of the lyrics... check it out! http://www.starwars.com/community/event/celebration/f20050419/indexp4.html]
"I just need to do a few calculations before the jump to hyperspace..."
"Are you finished yet, your HIGHNESS?"
High tech stage effects... *G*
*generic light saber sounds*
*ggl* Luke in his X-Wing!!! *G*
those are wonderful! I do love all the costumes except....may I just say something....
a couple of the droids for sale reminded me of the Wizard of Oz *G*
:) lovely pics as always!
*G* Well, they're supposed to remind you of: "Futurama", "The Jetsons", "Star Trek: Voyager", and... "Metropolis"? *G* Cute ideas.
Indeed. If only the Hitchhiker's Guide trailer had come out a *little* earlier, we might have had Marvin too. :-)
*LOL*! Wouldn't that have been great? *G*
Hey... still could have had the BBC series Marvin... which, ironically, they did feature in a cameo in the movie!
Oh, I did, I did! Because I was wondering why he wasn't making a detour to Indy for GenCon in August, darn it! grrrrr.... But I didn't realize it was for his book. *G* I have his first one - need to read it! "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor".
he doesn't really do conventions very often....
Ooops, silly me, I didn't see this post before I posted my last comment! These are AWESOME!
Clearly I'm going about this all backwards, because I've just now seen *your* post on the TFN boards, and yes, we would LOVE your pictures, and I'm cracking up at all the Shutterfly captions!
(And see, now I'm just spamming your journal. If you get an influx of other SWME people here, it's because I just made a post telling them about these awesome pics. *g*)

Count me in =)
*S* Were you in it, and who did you play?
Teesa was part of our fantastic stage crew. portnoyslp
up there was Bail Organa ("Princess Leia's father") and he also arranged ALL of the music and provided the "voice" of R2-D2. :)
I was really amazed at the professionalism of the production; just wonderful. *G*
Are you kidding? There's nothing I'd like better than comments!
BTW... as I said in an earlier reply, I'll send you a CD of the pics. You can also just order photos from Shutterfly; the files they have are higher-res than what are shown in the album, so you can get 8" x 12" easily. HOWEVER... they automatically "enhance" the color, which is very frustrating. Try going through the album and clicking on a pic you like, and then see if you get an option to turn off the "enhancement" or whatever it's called. It may not show up until you try to order a pic.
Sorry, that's not terribly clear, but... if you do try it, let me know how it works, and what kind of clearer instructions I can give. Thanks!
Hey - did you see Charlie Ross's show, and what did you think of it?
Grrr, Shutterfly and their stupid enhancements! We ordered a bunch of prints from them of one of our wedding pictures to send with holiday cards and they turned out so dark! Pissed me right off.
I did indeed see the One-Man Star Wars. I had seen him do just ANH at Comic-Con last year, and then I saw the One-Man LOTR at ORC, so there was no way I was missing it! He was, of course, absolutely amazing. I think, though, that his LOTR might be a *smidge* funnier. Between "Mr. Frodo, are we gay?" and his Denethor falling off the cliff...man. Awesome.
*gasp*! You were at ORC, too? And, you know what? I think LOTR was funnier, too... the characters might lend themselves to it better, I don't know. I'd forgotten about the drop off the cliff. *S*
I actually came to the Star Wars Con to photograph him... and caught your show because I wanted to have a good seat and came early! *embarassed admission*. I was pleasantly surprised to find I liked yours as much (or better - *G*). I have a link to photos of him a few entries back, and a link so some of my ORC albums on my info page, if you're interested. Cute guy, too. *G*
Yep! While the rest of the Musical cast and crew is in Boston, my husband (the show's director and co-writer) and I moved to San Diego in 2003, so we day-tripped it to ORC this year.
Actually I think it's really awesome that you weren't intending to see us but ended up really liking the show! It thrills me when people say, "I didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be really cool!"
I'll check out your ORC albums! I didn't see much of the celebs since I spent a lot of time at either the costume panels or "backstage" during the interminable wait for the costume contest to start!
Great - then you probably met Leah Jakovsky (spelling?); she was Sam in the Sam & Frodo on the Gorgoroth Plain pair, and did the Fan Film with the paper bag characters. *S*
Yes, I was very much into photographing... and a big fan of the "hobbits".
Yes! And Carolyn was Frodo to her Sam, yes? I hadn't realized she also did the paper bag puppets. :) I met them and the rest of the One Ring Circus people at the Comic-Con Masquerade back in 2003. Fun folks!
Wow. These are great shots of the show! Thanks for posting them.
And yes, I'm one of the travellers who found my way here via the link in brightcupenny
Welcome! And thank you very much. And hello to your Blossom icon (I'm a Buttercup fan, myself) - *S*.
