Sneak Preview: Photos of "STAR WARS - The Musical"
I'm about halfway through the photos I took of "STAR WARS - The Musical". What a GREAT job they did! You can tell from the photos - just look at the costumes, and the great resemblances to the cast. The singing was topnotch, and they even had an ORCHESTRA! (a small one) And it was all done by fans.

[ETA: And I am SOOOOOOOO used to typing LOTR that I typed "LOTR: The Musical" twice, above, and probably just about gave Tig a heart attack! Sorry about that, Tig, and thanks for pointint it out.]

So, take a look and enjoy; I'll put a link to the complete album when it's done (probably tomorrow).

I'd still love to put these up where people from the cast, and people who went to Celebration III can see them, but I just don't know how to do that...

Here are the photos, six of them:

Wow! Their Luke and Han are better looking than the film versions. And I love the kicking Storm Troopers! Heeheehee!

*L*! I wouldn't say "better-looking", but the Luke was pretty amazing. *S*

And, yes... who can resist high-kicking Storm Troopers? But, man, that can't be easy in that armor!

*G* You should have seen the meteor shower they went through... koosh balls being thrown at them - *L*!

And poor little R2D2 (who was just a prop) had to have a handle on it, so it could be moved around stage... very cute. *G*

*L*! That's a great idea... I might steal THAT! *G*

And, you know the sad thing? I don't think I could kick as high or as well as the one on the right WITHOUT that horrible armor!

Ohmygosh, those pictures are SO SO SO SO great! Do you have more? Hi-res? We would LOVE to have them if you do.

(Uh, hi. I'm Caitlin. I was Leia. And the costume designer. Was linked her from a post on the TFN boards. Glad you liked the show!)

HALLELUJAH! Thank you so much for posting; I was having a hard time finding out how to contact anybody from the show, despite many attempts at googling. And then to find out you like them - great! *S* I didn't know if you all had so many pics that more would be superfluous, or if you were dying to see if anybody had some.

*L*! - and then to find out it's Leia AND the costume designer! I was absolutely amazed by the quality of the costumes in the show, especially yours, since I would think getting the fabric to flow just right would not be easy to re-create. And your performance was wonderful - great singing, acting, and resemblance to Carrie Fisher's Leia.

But enough gushing! Just contact me at nature_alight at yahoo.com (I'm leaving out the symbol so search robots don't find my email address and spam me), and let me know where I can send a CD of the pics. I'll send you the raw pics and the "improved" pics (mostly cropped and some brightening, contrasting, color correction to give what you see in the album).

And, again - thank you!
