It's a Good News Day!
To all of you on my f'list who reported on Billy's movie (On a Clear Day) getting picked up by an American Distributor; "Seed of Chucky" being available in April on DVD; and a great, funny, interesting article on the Rolling Stone site on Domminic.

BTW - was it already reported that "Empire", the Jan 2005 edition, has bits on LOTR? Rather nice, actually, including exerpts of "There and Back Again"? I'm sure it was - it's a month after it would have appeared in England, after all.

But I'm a bit confused about the article about Dom in Esquire; I just heard about it, but didn't see it in the February edition. Was it in January's, or will it not be in until March? Thanks.

Hiya! Sorry I don't have the answer to your questions, but I wanted to ask...did you say you gave Billy a Guster CD at ORC? Which one?

Yes! The one with the kid holding the TV (I think) up above his head; it's my favorite! Although the cover of the one with the Hummingbird is more visually appealing.

BTW... perfect timing! I was just wondering: where has Billy talked about what kind of music he likes, and what kind of music he was into when he was playing music? Somebody at the Con asked about Joy Division, and seemed to suggest that a movie was being made about them, and Billy would be good in it, and he said something along the lines of how that was his kind of music - or maybe that that was music from his time (his era). So it's got me curious. I don't even remember what song(s) Joy Division did!

And thanks for putting up some of that info! *S*

Oooh that's my favorite one, too. I can't believe Billy hadn't heard of them; he seems the type to keep on top of these things, you know? ;)

And I've never even heard of Joy division! I'll have to check them out now. Because if it's from his era, it's from mine as well, and if it's just music he likes then...yeah, I wanna hear it. :)

Well, that's why I'm curious what bands he's into! Plus, Guster may not get played in Europe... and he probably says that to all the girls! *L*!
