Sitting here happily watching Billy Boyd as Jamie in "Taggart"...!
Bought a couple of tapes on eBay - of the episode "Dead Man's Chest" on Taggart, and the infamous "Julie and the Cadillacs" - *G*. I'd already seen the Taggart episode (thanks to HC!), but that was a copy of a copy, and this was direct off of satellite TV. Interestingly enough, there are little bits of scenes that weren't on the other one I'd seen, which help to explain some of the "odd" bits that didn't make sense before - like why "Edwards" was so angry in the bar, etc. Still haven't steeled myself to watch "Julie and the Cadillacs", but, my... I do love Billy in this! Impressive acting, and adorable to boot!

So, you know what this means, don't you? *G*

Yes, that's right. The copy of Taggart that HannColl copied for me - is up for grabs! Anybody have that on their LJ Secret Santa list? *G*

What's that you say? What's on MY LJ Secret Santa list? Why, nothing very much, just...

1) A mood theme, preferably Billy or Master and Commander or Hobbits
2) A webpage for my photos

3) Billy Boyd
4) Pippin Took
5) Barrett Bonden
6) Jamie
7) Sniper 470 (the man, not the film - *G*)

Or, if you must...
8) Dom
9) Elijah
10) A Glen doll - *G* (guess I'll have to check Spencer's again on Tuesday)

My mun would be interested in the tape, but my mun hasn't put up a Secret Santa list.

The mun and I have little to offer in return, but we would write you a haiku.

*looks endearingly at you*

Well, a design for a webpage. Something that a person like me who knows NO html can easily add photos to. Like a set of pages with a bunch of thumbnails, that can be clicked on to enlarge, and once you enlarge one, you can go through the rest at that size, or go back to thumbnails.

Or, a place where I can put photos at actualy size on a page, in various positions - like a scrapbook!

I can afford to pay for it; I just have NO clue how to do one - *L*!

well, I know how to do one... but first you need a domain. I recommend http://webhosting.yahoo.com
They haven't failed me yet.
Once you have a domain then you just need to upload your photos to it and the rest can be done from there...

OK, Taggart is like, my favouritest show ever. Since when was Billy Boyd in it?

*pouts*

Oh, and you can have Elijah once I've finished tearing off his limbs. Muhaha.
*continues to murder Elijah Wood*

EEEEEK!!!!! Why are ye tearin' oof Elijah's limbs????? Ye cannae doooo tha', lassie!!!!! *cough* Not quite happy with his portrayal of Frodo, or... just strangely homicidal?

I honestly don't know the date he was in Taggart, and since they don't show it in the US, I don't know much about it, but apparently a lot of people like it. *G* Strangely, you don't see that much of Taggart in it... it comes across more as a movie than a TV show, perhaps due to its length. Hell, this is the third or fourth time I've watched it, and the first time it truly made sense - *L*! That's partly due to the rather large cast of characters, and partly due to the little bits of scenes being chopped off.

Anyway... this was a LONG time ago. Billy plays a young man with Asperger's Syndrome (a type of autism), so he comes across as even younger than he is. It was pre-LOTR so it would have to be at least 5 years ago. He is also veryveryvery cute. *G* *looks it up on imdb.com* 1996 So he was probably about 26, playing about 18.

*sigh*
