LOST - "You didn't hear about the polar bear?"
*bawls my eyes out*
So... here are my guesses for this season (assuming we'll get a few more episodes) and the final two years.
This year: the Six get off the Island while we continue with flashforwards of the Six (or some of them) deciding to go back
Next year: Alternates between what continues to happen on the Island while we see some of the Six try to get back
Final year: Resolution - some die, some decide to stay on the Island, and some leave... and Ben's rule is broken.
I was so...lost during last night's episode, when Jin got to the hospital and delivered the Panda, then said something about being married for 2 months. Then Sun goes to the cemetary to show him the baby, and I finally got it. Poor Jin! I am avoiding spoilers for next week, but I would assume that is not when Jin dies. That would seem too easy. In the past when they would build up someone's death, it was usually a character we barely saw before, so I am not going to get too caught up in the OMGWHOISIT, but I am curious.
This season is as good as the first, imo. A lot of answers, but those only leave you with more questions! So, do you trust the captain? Do you think Ben was behind it all? No matter who is behind it, where do you think the bodies came from? And can you remind me, did Desmond meet Michael, or did he show up after Michael and Walt left? I forget! LOL
But he's not dead! He was pretending to be dead, I believe. I'm assuming there's some reason that he thought it was for the best.
Man, I have to admit it didn't even occur to me that they had to get the bodies from somewhere. I guess I was thinking they were dummies!
Ben can't be behind all the strange stuff originally, but he's obviously taken advantage of the strangeness of the Island, and apparently the big stash of money behind Dharma (after he killed everybody off).
I think Desmond came after Michael and Walt left, but you're right, it's confusing!
One theory I have seen floating around is that Jin is still on the island. The ones who leave (Oceanic 6) feel they need to lie about what happened to the others, perhaps to protect them. So Sun had to "bury" him in order to cover the truth, thus the date on the grave being the date of the crash. So when she says how much she misses him, she is not meaning because he is dead, but rather she misses him because he is still on the island, and she wishes he could have been there to see the birth of their daughter. This scenario or one similar would imo be much more interesting than Jin's having died. Very intersting possibilities here, which make me love Lost even more!
But then how was he @ the hospital?
Wasn't he at the hospital for someone else's baby? I thought he was a flashback so that we wouldn't know until the end he was either dead or still on the island. They had said that baby he took the panda to was a boy, but Sun had a girl.
I know - that didn't make sense either! But, yes, I thought the panda was for Sun, to give to her anonymously, because of the baby (their baby).
Of course since I have to teach my class on Thursdays I get home later so I miss like the first 10 minutes or more of LOST. I tuned in to see Sun going into labor...where is Jin? Did they both get off the island?
THen we see the real story. What a twist! I bet we don't see how Jin dies until several episodes...besides, how did they get his body back to the mainland?
So many questions...and now Harold?
er.. I meant Michael, not Harold. durrrrrrrrrrr...
Still think he's not dead - I mean, he's there at the hospital! Sure, Sun thinks he's dead - but he's not - right?
I mean, he's there at the hospital
Uhhh, don't know how to break this to you but Jin was at the hospital at a different time, as in the early days of his marriage to Sun.
Sooooo I think this means that Jin is a goner! *meep!*
Wait... I don't think so. I don't think they've done that kind of a flashback before. But I may be wrong! I'll have to watch it again - *G*.
Yeah, you are going to see that Jin bought a panda bear on behalf of the company he works for only to present it to the boss of another company whose daughter just gave birth. As he is leaving the hospital some nurse makes a remark about having a baby and he replies that he has only been married TWO MONTHS!!
So its Jin of the Past.
Yep, you were right. I was thinking that he made up the remark about being married - *G*. The thing that tripped me up was the way he looked so longingly into the hospital room, trying to catch a glimpse - but I'm guessing that was supposed to represent his longing to have a child of his own. Darn!
