Wow... quiet f-list today! Randomness follows.

The Decemberists apparently have an iterview at the AT&T Blue Room (www.attblueroom.com/music).

magickalmolly is having an LJ garage sale, and she had Birkenstocks my sis-in-law was looking for - 3 pairs and exactly her size!

Home is more peaceful now that the 3 cats have each found a place to be when I feed them - one on the counter, one on the table, and one on the floor. And the little guy is allowed out all the time now; he's no longer locked in the second bedroom during work.

I can usually capture stuff off the AT&T site, if there's anything you want to keep

Thanks! I was just letting hobbitgrrl and tootsiemuppet know, in case they hadn't heard of the interview.

I'm afraid I gave in and went to see "Children of Men" on my own last night. I really wanted to see a movie, and "Apocalypto"'s times didn't work for me, and I think psyknife's getting a group together to see "Pan's Labyrinth" this weekend. Interested? You might still be able to use your AMC tickets, depending on where it's at.

I loved Clive and Micheal Caine in the movie, as well as the girl playing Keye. Charlie was the dreadlocked Fish, right? Yeah - not a lot of role there to play, unfortunately - and that hair! An interesting movie, and moving, at times, but it didn't rank as one of my favorites. As someone who has never had a deep desire to have a child, though, it did a great job of hitting me with just what the implication of mass infertility would be, and how useless everything would seem without somebody to carry it all on.

Yay for the three cats feeling at home and for the little guy to be set free during the day. ^_^

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my little rabbit, (We call m dwarf-rabbits, not too sure how to translate that) to keep here at my bedsit! Yay to that, too. He/she shall be named Bruce, after the shark in Finding Nemo. ^_^

I think they may be "dwarf" rabbits here, too. Awwww... "Bruce" - even if a girl? Lucky thing - *L*!

your cats are honoured... if Lucy gets on the counter or the table she gets a thick ear!!

*G* Heck, I figure "it's their house, too!". Plus, being the take-out queen, my food rarely touches the counter or the table... !

Hi! How does one have an LJ garage sale?

I'm glad to hear all the kitties are getting settled :-) Are you happy with your new home? Is it in a nice neighborhood? Is it fairly close to your job?

Hope you're not too buried with the recent snow or too frozen with the arctic temps.

Hugs!

Well... the garage part is a little tricky, but basically you post pics of items and their costs! *G*

Well, we'll see about the cats. Unfortunately my older boy decided to "spray" last weekend - inside. Something he's never done in 18 years. I believe it's his attempt to send me a "get that kitten outa here!" message. We'll see.

I'm not ecstatic about my new house, like I was with the other one, and it feels really small, but it's close to downtown Libertyville and trails, and has a nice yard, and it is close to my job. I'm looking forward to the summer, when I can enjoy the trails, downtown, yard, etc. a bit more.
