LOST ramblings....
BTW, I only just saw the previous episode, and can I agree with Television Without Pity (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/) and say hurrah for casting ClancyMotherFuckingBrown!!! And I really shouldn't be on the internet while watching this, because when I read the TWOP I realized that had missed half of what was going on - including where they revealed which of the people in Sayid's flashback was connected to somebody else on the island. And the recording cut off Charlie's answer to Sayid's question at the end. BTW, the TWOP's are a lot better than I remember then being last year (after we lost the really good writer); they're worth reading again. *G*

Oh! And go to rakshi journal, where there's a TV article that also applauds the use of Clancy Brown - on the same page that salutes Sean Astin's work on "24" (yay!). And TWOP has a great title for the previous "24" episode: "Lynn McGill and the Horrible, Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day". *G* In short: "24 - President Logan's bad bossing is starting to get to McGill, who basically stops looking for the nerve gas and starts making everyone around him miserable instead. Except for the "starts" part. Meanwhile, Logan sends the Russian President into a terrorist ambush to prevent Julian Sands from using the gas on American citizens. In response, the First Lady goes all loose-cannon again and hops the next limo out of Not Camp David. She may be in for an eventful ride."

Cyloran - did you know that Geraint Wyn Davies (Nathanson) was a vampire cop on Forever Knight??? I remember you were a big fan of that show.

Okay - this week:

So she IS a psychiatrist... and befriends Hurley. Hmmmmmm....

Oh, so we'll hae Claire flashbacks now... or, perhaps... this is happening in the Dharma compound? Ah, yes... Ethan. What did he do so that she thought she was elsewhere? Ah... she's drugged... that's why....

Okay, so they are in one of the Dharma compounds.

Why does Ethan creepily reminds me of Locke? Oh, lord... the PLANE MOBILE!!!!! *LOL*!!!! WTF!!!!! That is so sick.

Ah... that face we first saw... somebody helped her to escape... "Get out of here!"

Oh, sure... Rousseau is the one to talk to... again - don't ask for explanations, just tell her what you want, whether you know it's right or not. On the other hand - yeah for Girl Power!

Uhoh... it's raining... bad things happen when it rains.

Okay - good that they're finding answers - but who's infected and who isn't???

Really? The girl might be Alex?

Ecko... hmmm.... the two little braids represent the two men he killed? But... he killed them... when he got on the island? Oh, wait, yes - the two that came and attacked - now I remember.

Ah, the prisoner tries to humanize himself by engaging in conversation. But Others could do that, too. And, now, a very obvious way of trying to play Locke against Jack. *G* Oh, Locke... you're not THAT vulnerable, are you? Oops... got under his skin. That was waaaay too easy!

EEEE! A glimpse of Charlie! *sigh*

Wait, there was a glimpse of Charlie? I missed that.

I loved how Eko just walking into the room looked like it put the fear of God into "Henry." He's soooo messing with Locke, and I can't believe Locke bought that. Very observant guy, "Henry," knowing just whose skin he can get under. Although he must know he has to tread carefully, since his captors have a Republican Guard torturer and a big menacing dude who came in just to tell him he killed two people.

Ya, the Locke tantrum was a bit much, I thought it was a bit out of character. When he knocked the stuffing out of Charlie he had a good reason, this just seemed kinda whiny.

...and speaking of whiny, I used to really like Claire, but man she is getting on my nerves lately... too much whining! On a good note, there was Mr. Eko, and no Ana Bitchface.

They all get on my nerves once in a while... *G*

Man, it was wierd seeing Sayid talking to Dom on Pariah Beach in the previous episode.

And great job on the Middle East flashbacks, especially the one with Sayid standing in front of the burning oil wells in the background... whoa.

Geraint WAS the main character of Forever Knight. That show rocked! You mean he's done something else now?

Yes! Apparently he's on 24, playing... Nathanson? Something like that? Check out the summary on TWOP: http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/story.cgi?show=73&story=8879&page=9&sort=&limit= . Look at the blue sidebar. I think he's a bad guy, but I don't really know the show; might help if you read the whole summary. Sean Astin plays McGill.

Pretty good ep tonight, but I was hoping that Claire would remember what Charlie did to try to protect her and apologize. Bitch. *G* Mr. Eko is becoming a more and more interesting character this season, like Locke was in Season 1. Speaking of Locke, he is getting a little sensitive, isn't he? I think it works because they've already set him up to be a tad bit unstable. Also, Henry Gale?? Auntie Em, Auntie Em!! *L*

Guh! You have got to stop killing me with that Dom icon from Insomniac's Nightmare! Your choice of words on there was all too perfect! *L*!

You know... I was hoping the exact same thing. Especially since she now knows she spent the whole time wanting them to take the baby. Of course, she was drugged, but. I hope... maybe... she will later? Ecko... yes - you know, he reminds me of the white and black markers of the backgammon board that Locke had. He's the extremes: he knows how to kill, manipulate, etc.... but he's sworn those off and has amazing willpower to resist temptations. He's going to be very interesting to watch. *L*! Yes, Henry Gale. Hey - you don't think he could be... The Wizard of Oz?????? After he left Oz, he was blown off course again - to the island of LOST!

Well... not in a cannon Oz. {Smile} There, the Wizard was a friend, not family. Besides, Dorothy lived with her Auntie Em and Uncle Henry in Kansas until they all moved to Oz. {Smile}

Then again, this is Lost, not Oz. {chuckle, SMILE}

Ahhh... but he actually WAS family... the black sheep of the family that Dorothy never knew about! Didn't you know that? *G*

(oh, that's right - her uncle's name WAS Henry... hmmmmm....)

That didn't get into L. Frank Baum's Oz. {Smile} I've got that covered in my own collection. I even found a collection of six short stories by him a few years ago. However, I've barely found any Oz books between his as Wicked to read. I don't think I've been able to re-read any of the few I did find, either. {chuckle, Smile}

Yes. Dorothy already has a relative named "Henry." He's Auntie Em's husband. We don't need to go and invent a new one. {BIG SMILE, REALLY BIG GRIN, HUMONGOUS GRIN}
