For Green Ghost... - "You didn't hear about the polar bear?"
For Green Ghost...|
I was going through eBay when I thought I'd do a search for the Green Ghost game, and one of the things that came up was... an old trade ad for it! *S* Boy, does this bring back memories...

Freakin' weird. Also oddly compelling. What does that big green ghost thang do?
"oddly compelling" is right - you have no idea how I go into a trance just seeing that damn game!
It really wasn't much of a game, but the board was just too cool - for the '60's - *G*. Because... are you ready for this?... it GLOWED IN THE DARK!!! Kind of. Sort of. Okay... a little bit - *L*!
The ghost, cool as it looks, is just a spinner. It makes a fun clicking sound, and points to a number from 1 to 5, telling you how many spaces to go. And it's blown up in the picture - more like the size of your hand.

Oh, that's a shame -- I thought it was some big inflatable critter that danced when you pressed a button, or maybe a bonus jello-mold "for mom". But yeah, the board .. If I had that game, I'd play it tonight!
*heeheehee* - a GREEN Jello mold - *L*!
HA hahahaha!!!! I remember when you first started posting, you flagged my username, because you remembered the game. I think you are the only person in all my LJ travels who does. I always loved the spooky stuff, and still do. I can see myself in my minds eye, playing this game in the dark with my sisters and g/friends. That's so cool, I'm all warm'n'tingly inside. You're so sweet to post it!
*G* Ditto... something about that game just makes me feel like a kid.
Speaking of which, it made me think of Dark Shadows... so I ended up buying a DVD set of the first episodes - *L*!
Looks cool! I haven't even heard of that game before :D
And in honour of that, I use an icon that you hadn't heard before you knew me:D
Eeeee!!!! Klangers!!!! *L*! I do love that icon, and meant to tell you so before, btw. *G*
psst Clangers with a C, but you weren't to know that :) And thank you, I just had to have them as an icon!
