Looks like you're in for a fun autumn!

The exhibit sounds nifty, but I just discovered this nifty place and it turns out I LIVE here...who knew? ;-) (OK, I just feel like I've hardly been home. I've actually been home every weeknight for the most part!)

*G* I know what you mean. But... come on down anyway!!!!!!! November's pretty dull otherwise - that would be a good time to come.

Hee, no problem!

Once you download it, what you do is select all the stuff you want to zip (you can select folders, too) and right-click - at least with my OS that gives you the option of zipping it all. Or you can just open the program and follow instructions.

Okay... I opened the program, told it where I want to save the zip file, then chose what I wanted zipped, and it created a file.

Problem: the file is the same size as the sum of all the pics, not smaller - as far as I can tell. What am I doing wrong?

...I have no idea. *_*

Maybe you should zip enough to make 1g or less and send that through yousendit.com; if you have more (yikes!) zip more. Zips are still good because otherwise I'd have to download every image separately!

Hey! Oak Park? When are you getting in? I am very, very close. Are you staying with anyone? All I could offer would be a couch in a very full house, but you are welcome.

*L*! That's right - I forgot!!! I think the wedding's at 3, and then the reception. Thanks - I may take you up on that if my other friend in Chicago has a full house. *G*

Hey - did you notice the Sept. 24 opening of an exhibit on the Arts and Crafts movement at the Indy Museum of Art? It has items from ... damn... a famous museum in London that I always forget the name of - anyway, it includes a fully re-constructed Gustav Stickley room!

Just one thing... still need to know whether Saturday or Sunday is best to go to the exhibit, and what time is best for the Shirelings?

In other words, should we all go at 10 am Saturday, because you and Ninq will be coming down Friday afternoon? Or 10 am Sunday, because people will be traveling on Saturday? Or noon? or 2?

I figure you parents know best about the time of day, and your travel plans will determine whether it's Saturday or Sunday. Then we can buy tickets! *G*

I'll have to check with the hubby on the Saturday vs. Sunday question. But tentatively I'd say noon on Sunday is best for us. What does Ninque think?
